Service Description

Led by Cassie who is a Registered Massage Therapist, Yoga Instructor and Reiki practitioner with over 15 years of personal experience and practice teaching yoga. Indulge your senses with an intuitively guided yoga practice that is intentionally slow, breath focused with massage principles and optional grounding massage and/or reiki in the final resting pose, savasana. We will work with the breath to reduce stress and soothe the nervous system, warm the body by strengthening the core and glutes, address common postural dysfunctions like upper cross syndrome and lower cross syndrome which often occur from sitting at a desk long hours; we do this by strengthening the shoulders with dynamic movement, stretching the front of the chest, strengthening the glutes and abdominals and stretching the hip flexors/low back. We will learn the functional range of motion for each joint in the body and the importance of daily practice to encourage longevity and an overall sense of well being. Grounding massage and reiki is optional - You do not have to receive physical touch to receive the benefits of this class. All people and levels of practice are welcome.
